Played this in highschool. It was so a college student could get some experience directing before she started student teaching, so my bd gave us a stupid easy song to learn with her. We played this at our pops concert in February and then she conducted a similar piece in May. It was really cool to watch her step out of her comfort zone and become a better director-not only conducting wise, but also communicating with the band to make both pieces more interesting.

Personally, I find this a very beautifully written piece of music. Sean O’loughling definitely knew what he was doing. I had to preform this at my spring concert, loved every second of the song! ❤

Im glad it's finally released because I was part of DHB and we got to play this song in February while it was a world premiere and I think it might be my favorite song Ive played so far. I was 5th chair percussionist and had suspended cymbal and triangle.
